🍯 Khapli Churma with Dry Fruits

📝 Ingredients:

1 cup Dinesh Flour Mills Khapli Atta

¼ cup desi ghee (plus extra for shaping)

½ cup powdered jaggery or sugar (as per taste)

2 tbsp almond slivers
-
2 tbsp chopped cashews
-
1 tbsp chopped pistachios
-
1 tbsp raisins
-
½ tsp cardamom powder (elaichi)
-
2 tsp poppy seeds (khus khus) – optional
-
Warm milk – only if needed to bind
👩🍳 Instructions:
1. Make the Dough Balls (Muthiyas):

Mix Khapli Atta with 2 tbsp ghee and knead a stiff dough using minimal water.

Make small oval-shaped muthiyas (or thick rotis).

Bake them on low flame on a tawa or roast in a pan until golden brown and fully cooked from inside. Let them cool.
2. Grind & Prepare Churma:

Break the muthiyas or rotis into pieces and grind them into a coarse powder using a blender or chakki.

Roast this mixture on a low flame with remaining ghee until aromatic and lightly golden.
3. Mix Sweetness & Dry Fruits:

Add powdered jaggery or sugar and mix well.

Stir in cardamom powder, chopped dry fruits (almonds, cashews, pistachios, raisins), and poppy seeds (if using).

Mix till everything combines well. Add a spoon of milk only if mixture feels too dry for shaping.
4. Serve:

Serve warm in a bowl or shape into churma laddoos by pressing small portions in your palm with extra ghee.
