What all do you respect in your country?

I respect the fact that even though my country was ruled by the British for over 200 years, they stood back on their feet once they attained freedom. Their bounce back time from having nothing to now having a lot is commendable.

Today, just 75 years on, Indians excel in almost every field, be it literature, medicine, technology, automobile, cinema, or any other field.

There are many more things too that I respect about India like many other countries now look up to us even though we are still developing as a nation. The heads of these countries look forward to meeting with the heads of our country so that they can discuss life-altering decisions for one and all.

India is the largest democracy in the world. Combine it with the fact that it is the second largest populated country across the globe. I have immense respect for my country because managing a democratic environment with such a large population to take care of is not easy.

People of all religions and faiths have always lived in harmony here. The Government calendar has holidays earmarked for festivals from various religions.

These are some major highlights of my country India that have gained immense respect from not just me but a majority of the Indian citizens over the years.
