Mix Vegetable Chilla with Multigrains

"Healthy, hearty and wholesome, Multigrain Chila for a nourishing meal"

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup  Dinesh Flour Mills Multigrain Flour (Or  Dinesh Flour Mills MultiMillets Flour)
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped carrot
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped capsicum
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped tomato
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 green chilli, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed
  • Oil for cooking

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, add the multigrain flour, onion, carrot, capsicum, tomato, coriander leaves, green chilli, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.
  2. Add water gradually and mix to form a smooth batter. The consistency of the batter should be similar to dosa batter.
  3. Let the batter rest for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan or tawa over medium heat.
  5. Grease the pan with a few drops of oil.
  6. Pour a ladle full of batter on the pan and spread it in a circular motion to make a thin pancake or chila.
  7. Cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes or until the bottom side is golden brown.
  8. Flip and cook for another minute on the other side.
  9. Repeat the process with the remaining batter.
  10. Serve hot with chutney or tomato ketchup.
