Multigrain Poori


  • 1 cup Dinesh Flour Mills Wheat Flour
  • 1/2 cup Dinesh flour Mills Millet flour/ Multigrain Flour
  • 1/2 cup Dinesh Flour Mills Oat flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Water, as needed
  • Oil, for frying


  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, millet flour, oat flour, salt, cumin powder, coriander powder, and turmeric powder. Mix well.

  2. Add the oil and mix again until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

  3. Gradually add water, a little at a time, and knead the dough until it is smooth and pliable.

  4. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.

  5. Heat oil in a deep frying pan on medium heat.

  6. Divide the dough into small balls.

  7. On a floured surface, roll out each ball into a thin, round disc, about 4-5 inches in diameter.

  8. Carefully drop each disc into the hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides.

  9. Remove the poori with a slotted spoon and drain excess oil on a paper towel.

  10. Serve hot with your favorite curry or chutney.
