Poha Receipe
Poha is a popular Indian breakfast dish made from flattened rice flakes. Here's a recipe for making poha using Dinesh flour mills Poha:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Dinesh flour mills Poha
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup finely chopped tomato
- 1/4 cup chopped potatoes (optional)
- 1/4 cup green peas (optional)
- 1-2 green chillies, chopped
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tbsp oil
- Salt to taste
- Lemon juice and coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:

Rinse the Dinesh flour mills Poha thoroughly in a colander under running water until it becomes soft. Drain the water completely and set aside.

Heat oil in a pan or kadhai. Once the oil is hot, add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Let them splutter.

Add chopped onion and green chillies. Sauté for a minute or two until the onions turn translucent.

Add chopped tomatoes and sauté until they turn soft and mushy.

Add chopped potatoes and green peas (if using). Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt. Mix well.

Add the rinsed Dinesh flour mills Poha and mix gently with the vegetables. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook for 2-3 minutes on low flame.

Once done, turn off the heat and let it sit for a minute or two.

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and a squeeze of lemon juice.

Serve hot with tea or coffee.
