Jaggery Kheer with Desi Khand
Traditional Sweet Dessert
Kheer is one of the most loved Indian desserts. This version uses Organic Jaggery Powder and Desi Khand for a rich traditional sweetness.
Ingredients
• 1 litre milk
• ¼ cup Dinesh Basmati Rice (washed)
• 3 tbsp Dinesh Flour Mills Organic Jaggery Powder (Shakkar)
• 2 tbsp Dinesh Flour Mills Desi Khand
• 2 tbsp chopped almonds & pistachios
• ½ tsp cardamom powder
• Few saffron strands (optional)
Preparation

Heat milk in a thick pan and add washed rice.

Cook on low flame while stirring occasionally.

When rice becomes soft, add Desi Khand.

Turn off heat and mix Organic Jaggery Powder.

Add cardamom powder and dry fruits.

Cook for another 2 minutes and serve warm.
Serving Tip
Serve warm or chilled with extra nuts on top.
