Authentic Punjabi Choley Recipe with Dinesh White Chana

🧄🍅 📝 Ingredients: 1 cup Dinesh Flour Mills White Chana (medium size) 2 medium onions (finely chopped) 2 tomatoes (pureed) 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste 2 green chilies (slit) Whole spices: 1 bay leaf, 2 cloves, 1 small cinnamon stick 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp red chili powder 1.5 tsp coriander powder 1 tsp garam masala or chole masala Salt to taste Fresh coriander for garnish 👩🍳 Method: Soak & Boil: Soak 1 cup Dinesh White Chana overnight. Pressure cook with 3 cups water and a pinch of salt for 5-6 whistles until soft. Prepare Masala: In a pan, heat 2 tbsp oil. Add cumin seeds, bay leaf, cloves, and cinnamon. Add onions and sauté until golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Sauté until raw smell disappears. Cook Tomato Base: Add tomato puree, turmeric, chili powder, and coriander powder. Cook until oil separates. Simmer Choley: Add boiled chana to the masala. Add salt and 1 cup water. Simmer for 15–20 minutes on low heat. Add garam masala and mix well. Garnish & Serve: Garnish with fresh coriander and sliced onions. Chana Sattu Drink (Cooling Summer Beverage)

Ingredients: 2 tbsp Dinesh Flour Mills Chana Sattu (roasted gram flour) 1 glass cold water 1 tsp lemon juice ½ tsp roasted cumin powder ½ tsp black salt (or regular salt) 1 tsp Dinesh Flour Mills jaggery (optional) A few mint leaves (for garnish) Ice cubes Instructions: In a glass, add Chana Sattu and mix it with a little water to make a smooth paste. Add the remaining water and stir well. Mix in lemon juice, cumin powder, salt, and honey/jaggery (if using). Add ice cubes and stir well. Garnish with mint leaves and serve chilled.
