Use Foxtail Millet to prepare vegetable pulao, comforting khichdi, savoury upma, millet bowls and other rice-style recipes. Its versatile flavour pairs easily with vegetables, dals, herbs and everyday Indian spices. The grains are cleaned and packed for convenient pantry use, with no preservatives.

For a simple preparation, rinse the grains well and soak them for around 20 minutes. Cook 1 cup of millet with approximately 2½ cups of water for 12–15 minutes, then rest and fluff. Adjust the water slightly depending on whether you prefer separate grains or a softer khichdi-style texture.

Rinse well. Soak for approximately 20 minutes. Add 1 cup of foxtail millet to around 2½ cups of water. Simmer for 12–15 minutes, rest briefly and fluff. Adjust water and cooking time to suit the recipe and preferred texture.
