Mix Vegetable Chilla with Multigrains

"Healthy, hearty and wholesome, Multigrain Chila for a nourishing meal" Ingredients: 1 cup  Dinesh Flour Mills Multigrain Flour (Or  Dinesh Flour Mills MultiMillets Flour) 1/4 cup finely chopped onion 1/4 cup finely chopped carrot 1/4 cup finely chopped capsicum 1/4 cup finely chopped tomato 1/4 cup finely chopped coriander leaves 1 green chilli, finely chopped 1/2 tsp cumin seeds 1/2 tsp turmeric powder Salt to taste Water as needed Oil for cooking Instructions: In a mixing bowl, add the multigrain flour, onion, carrot, capsicum, tomato, coriander leaves, green chilli, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well. Add water gradually and mix to form a smooth batter. The consistency of the batter should be similar to dosa batter. Let the batter rest for 10-15 minutes. Heat a non-stick pan or tawa over medium heat. Grease the pan with a few drops of oil. Pour a ladle full of batter on the pan and spread it in a circular motion to make a thin pancake or chila. Cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes or until the bottom side is golden brown. Flip and cook for another minute on the other side. Repeat the process with the remaining batter. Serve hot with chutney or tomato ketchup. Enjoy your multigrain mix vegetable chila!

Millets Dosa Recipe  Healthy, Delicious, and Nutritious !! Perfect Start for Your Day How To Prepare Millets Dosa :  Millets dosa is a healthy and delicious breakfast or snack option that is easy to prepare. Here's a simple recipe for millets dosa: Ingredients: 1 cup mixed millets (such as foxtail, little, barnyard , etc) 1/2 cup urad dal (split black gram) 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds Salt to taste Water as required Oil for cooking Instructions: Rinse the millets and urad dal separately, and soak them in enough water for 4-5 hours or overnight. Also, soak the fenugreek seeds along with the urad dal. Drain the water from both the millets and urad dal-fenugreek mixture, and rinse them again. In a blender, grind the millets to a smooth batter, adding water as required. Transfer the batter to a mixing bowl. Grind the urad dal and fenugreek seeds to a smooth and fluffy batter, adding water as required. Add this batter to the mixing bowl with the millet batter. Mix the two batters well, adding salt to taste. Cover the bowl and let the batter ferment for 6-8 hours or overnight. Heat a non-stick or cast-iron dosa tawa on medium heat. Once the tawa is hot, pour a ladleful of the batter on the center of the tawa and spread it in a circular motion to make a thin dosa. Drizzle a little oil around the edges of the dosa, and let it cook for 1-2 minutes or until the edges start to turn golden brown. Flip the dosa using a spatula and cook for another 1-2 minutes or until the other side is also golden brown. Serve hot with chutney or sambar. International Millets Year 2023 - IMY 2023 Earlier in 2018, Millets were Rebranded in the name of Nutri Cereals, later the year 2018 was declared as the National Year of Millets !! The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, organized a grand opening ceremony for the International Year of Millets – 2023 at Rome on 6th December 2022 As declared by the United Nations General Assembly : Year 2023 is The International Millets Year (IMY 2023), The objective of the International Millets Year is to raise awareness about the importance of millets as a healthy and nutritious food source and to promote their cultivation, consumption and utilization around the world. The celebration of IMY is expected to contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by improving food security, nutrition, and livelihoods of small farmers, particularly in developing countries. Various events, campaigns, and initiatives were organized by governments, organizations, and individuals around the world to mark the International Millets Year. These included conferences, seminars, workshops, cooking competitions, awareness campaigns, and exhibitions, among others. The International Millets Year serves as a platform to raise awareness about the potential of millets as a climate-resilient crop and a tool for food security and poverty alleviation. It also emphasizes the need for increased investment in research, development, and promotion of millets as a part of a sustainable food system. India has been at the forefront of promoting millets as a healthy and sustainable food source, and it played a significant role in the celebration of the International Millets Year in 2023.
